While we can’t do it for you, we’ll help make this process as easy as possible. All you need to do is download a copy of your website (from your current hosting provider) and upload the pages onto our platform.

Transferring your website data to freistilbox is a straightforward process for which we provide easy to follow documentation. If you still need help with your migration, our support engineers will be happy to support you.

At freistilbox, we specialize in hosting Drupal and WordPress websites. We believe that quality hosting operations require application expertise. You can pay your hosting fees monthly via a credit card subscription. We use Stripe as our credit card processor. In order to be compliant with PCI/DSS regulations, your credit card details are stored in their high-security system only. 

Customers with a hosting contract exceeding €1,000 per month also have the option to pay via bank transfer.

Your data is safeguarded. freistilbox is fully compliant with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our IT infrastructure is located exclusively in data centres in Germany owned by a German data centre operator. We do not store any web application data on the infrastructure of non-European businesses or in locations outside of the EU.

Every 24 hours, freistilbox makes a backup of all your website data:

• Git repository
• Database
• Asset files

We hold on to backups for a minimum of 5 days.

For assistance that goes beyond the scope of our hosting support packages, our freistilbox engineering team can provide you with a range of professional services at either a fixed, predetermined rate or on a time-and-materials basis.
