Processing units
We measure the capacity of a freistilbox setup in Processing Units
, short PU
. This number indicates how many web requests your application will be able to process at the same time. For example, an application running on a 10 PU setup will be able to handle up to 10 requests at the same time.
It’s important to note that a majority of incoming requests won’t have to be handled by your application in the first place! Thanks to our high-performance content cache, a website with high caching efficiency will be able to serve many more concurrent requests than the number of processing units.
